My name is Paul Lappen, and I live in Connecticut, USA. I am in my early 40s, single, and a lifelong, very avid, bordering on voracious, reader. I have been a freelance book reviewer for almost six years and have my own web site publishing a quarterly e-zine entitled Dead Tree Review. I am also one of those who practically live in bookstores. Generally skipping the Best Sellers and New Releases, I am the one in the back of the store checking out the obscure and less well-known releases.My preference is small press books (fiction and non-fiction), but I read practically anything other than poetry, romance and blood & gore horror.
