Why do I enjoy reading? I have asked myself that several time and I don't really know. It may have something to do with my parents being avid readers, it may also have something to do with our television blowing up when I was about seven and not being replaced for two years. I was thought of as a bit strange at school for this but when most kids were reading stuff like the Secret Seven I was reading Jeffery Archer (what can I say, we all go through strange phase's when were young). All I know is some of the reason I enjoy reading is for the sheer escapism of it.
