A copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them resides in almost every wizarding household in the country. Now, for a limited period only, Muggles too have the chance to discover where Quintaped Lives, what the Puffskein eats and why it is best not to leave milk out for a Knarl. Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to Comic Relief, which means that the pounds and Galleons you exchange for it will do magic beyond the powers of any wizard. If you feel that this is insufficient reason to part with your money, I can only hope that passing wizards feel more charitable if they ever see you being attacked by a Manticore. help save lives!

Review
by Chrissi (011101) Rating (8/10) Review
by Chrissi I personally think that I have suffered from the attentions of a Chizpurfle - a nasty little being that, in the absence of magical items to gnaw on, will eat the innards of electrical objects, resulting in their unexplained demise. It
is not the largest of books ever released, but if you tried, you
could not come up with so many silly names and traits for a bunch
of animals. Go on, if you liked Harry Potter, then you will enjoy
this - it will make you smile, anyway, when you realise just how
many of these beasts you may have unwittingly seen... and you
will never leave food out for hedgehogs again, not if you value
your garden, you won't anyway... Review
by Nigel This is a great little book and like Quidditch Through the Ages adds to the whole Harry Potter experience and fills in many gaps. The graffiti throughout is a nice touch that will have you smiling. I
would also like to make a prediction. In Harry Potter 5 I think
we shall see a Lethifold making an appearance... very nasty! |
