Publisher's Write-Up

There are dresses, and then there are dangerous dresses... Everyone knows dresses can be powerful things. For example, Cinderella’s fairy godmother gave her a beautiful dress, which empowered her to go to the ball, etc. My grandmother’s dress is also powerful, and with all due respect to Cinderella, it must have given my 19-year-old grandmother powers that would make a fairy godmother blush...’

If there’s one dress that could make Jane Stuart think that anything was possible, it’s her late grandmother’s vintage 1920s Parisian dress. And when the dress becomes her ticket out of Nowheresville hometown, Jane takes her first tentative steps on her own reckless, passionate, and oh-so-dangerous adventure...

Lights, Camera, Action. Julia Holden tells the charming tale of Jane Stuart and her adventures with her Grandmother’s dress. Not just any old dress, this one is a dangerous dress.

When Jane is told a film director wants her special dress for his movie, she is sent tickets to fly direct to Paris where the film is being made. Grandmother’s dress goes missing and Jane is thrown into turmoil. If the dress disappears, the film cannot be made.

A story for every woman who has ever desired a dangerous dress..
