This book is about a team of children called The Time Detectives. They investigate historical events of a more gruesome nature in a very accessible way. In other words history that is fun :)

This story (number 2 in the series) tells the tale of pirates through the ages and compares modern day crime with that of the past.

A really good story with funny moments, like when ram raiders hit the chip shop rather than the one next door.

I've really enjoyed this series and now just need to get a copy of book 4 which is about King Arthur.
