The twin jet plane en route to Denver from Hong Kong is merely a green radar blip half an hour off the California coast when the call comes through to air traffic control:

Not what I expected, starting slowly, this story builds up pace without a dinosaur in sight!

I learned more about the aeroplane industry and got to appreciate what utter bastards the press can be.

I was surprised by this book and enjoyed it, even though a woman was the main character!
