by Surinar Bareth And what if that misfortune took both you and your family at the same time, what effect do you think that might have upon them? Learn how one man handled it in The Karma Trail by Irishman Danny McCallan. This stunning debut novel tells the story of what happened when terrorists incinerated his wife and 3-year old daughter in a car bomb and how he turned to the code of the ‘Shadrax Maga’, an ancient spiritual text, for support and comfort. Through its wisdom he again came into contact with their departed souls and found the strength to pursue their killers when they escaped justice. Some are calling this book a ‘mystical parable’, others ‘poetic’ and ‘insightful’, ‘raw’ and ‘spiritually awakening’. I call it enlightening – reading it is an experience you will cherish and which shall linger with you long after you close the last page. Rarely has a book spoken so forcefully, so honestly, of the pain, the anguish, the isolation that loss and loneliness can bring to a MAN when his family is taken from him, and the strength and guidance he finds in a spiritual path.
I would highly recommend this book. For less than the price of
a good night out it can change your life and make you believe
again – in love, in justice, in eternity. |
